i've just noticed a definate decrease in the number of stories being written on this site and was just wondering what the reason was for this.
is pcm 08 not as popular as previous versions?
is everyone waiting for the new db?
has everyone realised how much effort it takes to keep a story going and decided not to start something they know will finish in mid feb?
i think we all agree that nothing beats a good story but compared to 06 and 07 there have been hardly any for 08 so far.
the reason my last story (milram) died was a lack of time while being at uni. now i'm waiting for the new db but i am contimplating starting a new story with someone like Plowman Cravern when the new db arrives after enjoying my season with them on 07.
anyone got any thoughts?
or will i be booed down for cluttering up the story forum |

EDIT: and nobody cares about a story with the 1990 DB, so.....

This game just is not as great without the Spain/Fusion DB. I haven't played it nearly as much this year. I miss the extra races, extra teams, extra sponsors, etc. |

Stories work best with a Giant DB, loads of teams loads of races. So that there are lots of interesting things to read and see. Nothing out there at the moment. |

When the right db comes along, I'm sure the number of stories will increase again too. I really hope it happens soon, because the game doesn't feel finished when there's such a limited number of teams/races. |
