Im going to stop PCM07 and move to PCM08.
Is there any reason that I should not buy PCM08? and will I need some downloads to fix some problems if I buy it?
Basically, IS IT WORTH BUYING??? |

The question you should ask is "Was it worth replacing PCM06 with PCM07?". The answer to that would be no. The other question worth asking is if 2008 is better than 2007, and the answer to that is a resounding yes.

But then again, is it worth buying? No would be my answer, but then i never had 06 then moved to "rubbish" 07, so i don;t know the comparison between good and bad. All i know is that 07 has a lot in the way of good DBs out and is playable for the large part. 08 is all the same once you've done a year. Not as many races out yet, not too many DB, well, none that are really good anyway.

I'd say "Yes".
Once you play '08 it's difficult to go back to earlier versions. The gameplay is better, imo, and the graphics are far better. You also have the track mode, which is great to play online.
'08 is only really missing a must have DB...and I'm optimistic about Divinity 2 coming this week. |

There's no doubt: PCM08 is way better than PCM07. It's probably also the PCM-game with least bugs in it, and there's some new features compared to earlier versions.
If / when you get it, I'd suggest getting the latest patch. Concerning the DB, well, all of them have pretty much the same features, so it's all about what stats you prefer. |

My game should be arriving any day from now on.
Would the new divinity database stop the bugs or is it something else (could I maybe please have a link? )

Sounds great.
You need a patch: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=538
And you need a database (like Divinity) to get the real names. You can't really say which one is the best, but there's a great variety of files here: https://pcmdaily.c...p?catid=34 |
