I can't edit my saved games

I can't edit my saved games. I'm in my seventh season, so far I've edited without problems. But now, when I try to edit my saved game as usual, the editor does not create the cdb file, it does not appear in the game or in the folder. I used PCM DBEdit by Daby, but I tried Fast and Lachis Editor and the same thing happens. I have gone back and I can edit but when the cdb file exceeds 7000 kb no editor is able to export the edited file.
Any solution?
Has anyone played long games in career mode without this happening when editing the saved game?
I hope someone can help me. The editor is an essential tool to be able to have your rivals in good physical shape, especially in Giro, Tour and Vuelta |

Have not run across this but one thing would be to try the full editor (aka advanced editor), available here:

It opens all the tables so will take a long time to open a CDB, particularly with 7 seasons of palmares. So give it time and don't interrupt it.
No idea if it will work but you can try.

I tried to download it but it doesn't start the download.
I finished the seventh season and when I started the eighth the cdb file was smaller (4500 kb) than at the end of last season (7200 kb). I edit it and there I create the file.
The problem will be that current editors can't create such large files? In PCM 18 I played a game of more than 20 seasons and I could edit, in PCM 20 and 21 I did not reach 7 seasons.
If that were a problem would there be any solution?
Maybe start a new game with a less complete database (fewer races) and eliminating all the pre-2022 palmares so that the files of my saved games were smaller and spend more seasons reaching the point of not being able to edit?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

On the advanced editor - Right click on the download button, choose copy link address and paste into a new tab and it will download.
Afraid I can't help with file sizes or why the files sizes are bigger in 20 and 21. Or if that is the problem.
Deleting palmares will make the file smaller but by how much or whether it will make a difference for you I don't know.
It is a while since I looked at save games but it used to be that the game creates far more new riders than are needed and then deletes extras that might be why the file size goes down when you start the new season. It is possible something about the new scouting system increases that.

Now I was able to download, thank you
Deleting palmares and some cyclists without a contract I was able to extend a season... Maybe two.
Unless someone tells me that they have played using in-game editor) more than 10 seasons in PCM 22 I think the problem is the size of the file.
I think the only solution to play long games is to use an Expansion pack smaller than PCM Daily or DBWorld and trust that with fewer races each year the size of the save game does not grow as quickly. That... Or an editor that can work with large files.

If someone else has this problem to edit long games or if someone can edit long games without problem, I would be very grateful if answer this thread. |

Hi.
I have exactly the same problem.
After the seventh season, the database ProCyclist_1.cdb has reached almost 8.5 mb, PCM Fast Editor can't handle it anymore, and even Full Editor V4 doesn't work.
Someone should report this issue to the Fast editor developer to fix it with an update if possible.
