Problems with the menus!

Hello got a little problem here.
My computer used to run pcm 08 fine, but then recently my whole computer became slow. the problem is now fixed but pcm is still extremely slow in all the menus and when it loads. In 3D races it runs as normal without any problems.

Have tried to reinstall the whole game (appdata, cache, etc.) but without success.

My computer run in vista with service pack 1, processes Intel Core Duo 1.80 GHz, 3.00 gb ram, Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS graphics card

I will explain it better when I get an answerWink

You wrote, that you had a problem which caused your computer to become slow. What was causing these slow-downs and why do you think it is fixed when PCM still is slow? What have you done to fix it? Did you change other system settings or hardware in between? (Maybe during your attempt to fix the overall slow-downs)
