The last PCM edition I played is 2015, I did about +/- 30 seasons of Pro Cyclist Mode, loved it. Recently I bought a new PC (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, blabla) so it’s time to start with PCM 22 I guess?
In 2015 the transfers are a mess: unrealistic moves, unbalanced teams. How is that in the newest versions of the game?
Personally I don’t like it when (new) sponsors come into the peloton replacing teams like Bora for example. Is this just a matter of editing DYN_sponsors ‘contract end year’? And do some of you agree on this? (In 2015 I edited a lot in my save games like transfers, riders names, nationalities, stats, as it was really time consuming I'm not planning to do this again for this edition)
And finally, do you have maybe some tips and tricks for me for Pro Cyclist Mode 2022? So that I won’t make stupid rookie mistakes…
Transfers are more improved compared to 2015. It is more likely to see extensions instead of transfers and the teams are more likely to sign riders from "realstic" countries. Fdj and Lotto for example are signing lots of french and´belgians.. The maximum signing years is still only 3 years.. unfortunately.. I was hoping for 5!! (tadej)
Though i have seen some pretty unrealistic regens from unheard places!!
But ok, that sometimes happens irl too...
If you do not like new sponsors just go to dyn_sponsor and edit the end year. I guess that works just fine..
