RTG game from the late 1990s

from the late 1990s until the early 2000s Do you want to play a first-person space RTS game where you have to build bases? and go for a trip in a tank? I recall that you could create towers that would fall from the sky and that you could control to blast things down. I'm pretty sure it's not Battlezone because none of the footage I've seen of it have the towers.
