Two equipment suppliers??

Please help!

I started a new career with Equipo Kern Pharma using the 2021 Database Workshop in Steam.

I've just begun my second season but I can't proceed past Jan 1st as it says I need to accept R&D for an equipment supplier that doesn't exist? I've already done this for Frames + Wheels but it's saying I have another wheel supplier.

I can't delete the email and cannot accept any more R&D. It seems I'm completely stuck which is a huge bummer. Anybody else experienced this and have a workaround?
