Wild card limit?

I got a lot of wild cards in the start of my season, but as I've passed Milan-San Remo, my wild cards suddenly start to be rejected.

This might be a silly question, but is there a limit for how many wild cards you can have? Or is it just that I've fallen from 5th to 7th on the Continental Team list?

There's no limit, so it's other factors which explain your rejections Wink

Your team ha to be one of the top conti-teams. There are other rules as well, but mainly the ranking will decide.

But beside that, there is no use in participating in these races. You cannot make money, because you cannot win. Your riders wont get points only spend race days.

It can be worthwhile to enter these races if you are one of the larger continental teams like LPR or Barloworld, where you can win with the likes of di luca or soler. But for smaller teams it can be pointless as you are spending more on race costs than you are winning in prize money.

unless you go for mountain jerseys in the minor PT races, or have a half decent sprinter (I'm looking at you, Andalucia)...Wink
