PCM08 EXE Problem

just wondered if anyone can help as im stuck. Have not played the game for a couple of weeks, however when i went to run the game nothing happened. I get onto the pcm screen press play, the computer checks the disc but after that nothing happens . I have had the game running before just need to get it running again. The newest official patch has been added. Would appreciate anyones help |

This happens to me quite often, usually I find if I delete the information in the following directories and restart it sorts itself out:-
C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008
C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\Application Data\Pro Cycling Manager 2008
NOTE: REMEMBER TO MOVE YOUR SAVED GAMES FIRST, THEY SHOULD BE IN THE DIRECTORY BELOW:-
C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\Database

Reset is equal to uninstall and install again. |

By uninstall i mean the procedure in that link, lachi. That is a complete uninstall, i guess... |

Whatever (you might as well read the link but nevermind)
And deleting the saves must be the last thing to try. Before deleting them you could try to use the backup of the save. Rename the save (for example game001.cdb to game001.save) then rename the backup (for example game001.cdb~ to game001.cdb) then try again. |
