Writing on the asphalt

In the first PCM game, there were always some fans that had written names on the asphalt. This made a much more personal and fun atmosphere of playing the game, but I haven't seen that in PCM 08. Where did it go?
And is it possible to get back?

Its found in the CM_Textures/tags file. Check yours to see if you have the 5 files from various continents. Add you own. Usually they only appear during mountain stages.

I'd noticed this too - no road markings on Mountian Stages!

I've checked the tags files you mention and they are all there, pretty much the same as for 2006 & 2007 games.

But nothing appears on roads. Roadie, are you seeing these?
