Problems with my own race

Sorry guys, but i have a problem. I have just create a race with my own stages. When i edited the race, with PCM fast editor, the thigs as UCI_class, Popularity,... i filled them the same as the Tour of France. Then, when i play my rece the best riders doesnt participate, just medium riders. How can i do to force top riders to participate in my race as the Tour of France? Sorry for my english and i will be very thankful to everybody that answer my question.

I would say with high popularity level, but seems you put same as TdF...so this isn't the solution...are there mountains, hills, cobbles? and which kind of top riders are you aiming for?

Thank you for your answer. Yes, in my race there are stages of flat, hill, mountains, specially mountain, cobbles, TT,... I´m looking for the best rider of each team that participate in the race, just at it happends whit TDF, or at least the best climber. Im wondering if this problem has anything to do with Cyclist instead of STA_race... or maybe wiyh both.

If you are playing in single race mode you could either

(1) Make a startlist - which tells the game which riders to start
(2) Make it a variant for a big race with the same number of stages - so the game treats it like that race

option (2) Is easier, if you search I think you can find instructions on how to do this.

In career mode that is going to be harder.
