Demo problems

iv just got back home from holiday and downloaded the new demo. eager to play it i installed it. However i tried to play the track game and the velodrome is fine display fine except there are no riders just shadows on the track where they should be but the game still runs but i cannot see the riders. so i though ok try stage race and all i can see when i start the race is sky in all camara views Sad. Has anyone else had this prob? whats the solution? is it just my computer is rubbish?

any help is much appreciated Grin
