first of all, why did you need to make a new topic for this question... it would have been better to ask this in our Patch topic.
It would be good to know where you are downloading it from that wasnt at a speed that you like.

excuse me for creating a topic
I tried downloading it right from the PCM autostart, which gives you a speed of 7 kb/s, and some other gamesites on the www, but the speed won't get higher than 10 kb/s.
I'll try your download now

Ok  I remember when i went to download it the day it came out the link that was posted in Gamecenter was really slow! there was a unlimited download from Focus Interactive, but i cant remember the link. If PCM.Daily isnt working ill try and find it. |

i have to say flashget is a great help. it helps eliminate corrupt download files for me also. |

I got 650KB/s using FlashGet and downloading from this site

Well, if the server was any good you wouldn't need a download manager, but at least it's fixable with FlashGet |

When I use flashget I have a download speed of 100-110 when I download at the site.

The server isnt just "no good". Its horrible. The thing didnt maximize my 4 m/bit connection when downloading the PlusPackage. And im not using FlashGet because im a prude which uses Firefox addons that works properly.

I go specially into IE to download things from the site using FlashGet
For the patch download I got 650KB/s but for the PlusPlackage I got 450KB/s. It varies a lot

I formatted my computer today and also decided to once and for all stop using IE and only use Firefox - and that also forced me to find something which would make FlashGet "compatible" with Firefox. And I did: FlashGot, a plug-in for FireFox, which does the trick beautifully |
