Also the CT division has a couple of decisions left before the Zuri Metzgete final! Though probably safe to say congrats to Delvaux for the CT title as also Valio for 2nd. They switched places at some time mid season but surely were the two best teams all year. Guarnieri in the end made the difference as he found his strength in the final which Gautier couldn`t match.
Compal with the win in the Herald Sun Tour seems to be 3rd and also goes back to the PCT.
Then a big change as Swisslion was the best scoring team in Australia and jumps from 7th to 4th for a direct promotion spot but it`s not safe yet as it`s super close down to 8th really. Andorra for the moment in 5th just 9 points below Swisslion though.
6th and first team under the line is ENI Mol, who had a good PCT run in Emelia but still lost the direct promotion spot and also Banco de Bogota and Sauber still have chances.
The fight for the bottom 5 would be thrilling seeing the gaps but as there is no relegation, it`s less exciting than in PT/PCT.

Our great performance in Herald Sun Tour gave us a great chance, but the last race could mix things up again. I could easily see ENI - MOL jumping over us with the likes of Di Maggio.
Pibernik, Othman and Seibeb scored a combined 0 pts for us in the last hilly classic, so I'm hoping for a much improved performance, we need it

I'm just here to see who I'm up against next season
Guarnieri really did it for Delvaux, I couldn't see Valio not win the division this year, but what a season Delvaux has had. Also nice to see Compal going back to the PCT.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yet another washout season in endless rebuilding project. Honestly, I need some strategy help.

I can't seem to work out whats missing with us...I don't know if its depth or just luck...I need to try search for a truely stand out climber for next season as our sprinters seemed to push really well this season...It must be our GC results. Big off season push for a climber will be coming!!

I'm far more at risk of Ben Nasser having a big enough performance for Campari to jump us than I am of threatening those above us now.
Hopefully we can hold on to our 8th place spot and strengthen well in the off season to have a better tilt at promotion then.

Thanks for the update, Roturn!
Nice to see that we maintained a nice gap despite our struggles in Herald Sun Tour.
Battle for the last promotion spots will be really exciting

Well it has been a while since I commented on an MG thread... amazing what having a child does to your social life when trying to fit in work and family life...
Yet again, I have awful planning from mid-season onwards and we just crash and burn. 11th overall is not good enough, and outside of Pinot, there was no real outstanding performer for GCN.
Need to have a good think about what I want to do with the team as a whole really...
Thanks for the update roturn and well done to all the promotion teams!
