PCM06 Crash in singel game

Hi, I have a problem with my saved games.
I start a new career and play for a few months without any problems. But sooner or later it comes up PCM.exe doesn't work when I press single player.

I have searched the entire internet for solutions and see that many say I should delete .cdb and .cdi and do .cdb~ to .cdb. But nothing helps. It is sad to play all the way to the Tour de france and then lose the savegame. and have to start over every time.
Hope someone knows.

Hi,
PCM.exe crash may rise from many reasons:
- Database issue (wrong value somewhere...)
- lack of hardware ressources (but in 2019 you shouldn't run PCM 06 on 2006 hardware Smile )
- often forgotten, but this could be an error in XML files: the race file or classification. A simple tag like ">" missing somewhere in the file could be a nuisance. Usually use a text editor like notepad++ to highlight XML syntax and easily find errors.
