The Post TdF update (which also includes the Colombo Classic while still missing Riga Jurmala GP for some teams)!
Two teams obviosly top the TdF ranking by quite a bit. This is the winning team of Taaramae, T-Mobile and the team of runner-up Spilak, Isostar.
Though it was a great fight with both collecting couple of ranking and stage points here and there, which results into a scoring win for Isostar despite finishing behind in the final GC.
Then a decent gap of ~500 points before Festina is coming next with Youth winner Lecuisinier closely followed by Berg around Gesink, who couldn`t challenge the very best this time.
Another gap to Puma due to KoM domination of Nerz as also Air France (Sicard), Aegon (Boom), Aker (Galta) or Gazelle (Team depth).
eBuddy and Volvo as probably the best sprinter teams in the middle alongside Porto, who had hoped for more.
Lower scoring for most other teams between 134 and 388 points.
| | Team | Score | | 1 | | Isostar Slovenija | 1457 | | 2 | | T-Mobile | 1371 | | 3 | | Festina - Dexia | 867 | | 4 | | Berg Cycles | 819 | | 5 | | Team Puma - SAP | 641 | | 6 | | Air France - KLM | 619 | | 7 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 581 | | 8 | | Aker - MOT | 564 | | 9 | | Gazelle | 543 | | 10 | | Volvo acc. by Spotify | 516 | | 11 | | Porto - Prio | 508 | | 12 | | eBuddy | 456 | | 13 | | Bennelong - Mitchelton | 388 | | 14 | | Moser - Sygic | 353 | | 15 | | EA Vesuvio | 287 | | 16 | | Team UBS | 243 | | 17 | | Evonik - ELKO | 225 | | 18 | | Team Tinkoff | 217 | | 19 | | Grieg - Eftel | 195 | | 20 | | Desigual | 192 | | 21 | | RBC Pro Cycling | 139 | | 22 | | Hugo Boss | 134 |
Isostar also takes the TdF individual scoring crown as Spilak outcores Taaramae by a tiny bit. Offside the GC, Galta with stage results, Nerz with the KoM win, Grosu/Ahlstrand due to their sprints and Boom with the early GC lead with solid 200+ scorings.

Well, no surprise that Puma did defend their lead with such huge gap and probably already towards the final win by now. Moser and EA Vesuvio though also remain on the podium as the big scoring teams came from the bottom half of the pre TdF ranking.
T-Mobile from 15 to 5 and Isostar from 19 to 6 with incredible gains! Out of relegation fear I guess. Also Festina from 7 to 4 with a good jump.
On the opposite Evonik 4 to 8, Hugo Boss 5 to 9 and RBC 6 to 11 made room for those teams.
The relegation fight is still close. Berg despite a big race for them still in the final position but it`s within ~300 points now for all 5 teams under the line and also just ahead it`s still close up to 11th with Air France at 10th might be the first safe team by a quick look.
Just ahead of the line Desigual and Grieg both dropped down a bit while Aegon wins one spot and is looking a little bit better now. But those three teams surely in biggest danger if the bottom 5 are scoring in the next couple of races.
| | | Team | Total | RD | PpRD | Proj | | 1 | 1 | | Team Puma - SAP | 7303 | 150 | 48,69 | 8521 | | 2 | 2 | | Moser - Sygic | 5465 | 153 | 35,72 | 6251 | | 3 | 3 | | EA Vesuvio | 5240 | 155 | 33,81 | 5917 | | 4 | 7 | | Festina - Dexia | 5022 | 150 | 33,48 | 5859 | | 5 | 15 | | T-Mobile | 4831 | 153 | 31,58 | 5527 | | 6 | 19 | | Isostar Slovenija | 4757 | 155 | 30,69 | 5371 | | 7 | 8 | | Gazelle | 4692 | 155 | 30,27 | 5297 | | 8 | 4 | | Evonik - ELKO | 4575 | 149 | 30,7 | 5373 | | 9 | 5 | | Hugo Boss | 4528 | 150 | 30,19 | 5283 | | 10 | 13 | | Air France - KLM | 4446 | 154 | 28,87 | 5052 | | 11 | 6 | | RBC Pro Cycling | 4277 | 154 | 27,77 | 4860 | | 12 | 11 | | Aker - MOT | 4265 | 153 | 27,88 | 4879 | | 13 | 9 | | Bennelong - Mitchelton | 4237 | 149 | 28,44 | 4977 | | 14 | 10 | | eBuddy | 4216 | 148 | 28,49 | 4986 | | 15 | 16 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 4084 | 155 | 26,35 | 4611 | | 16 | 12 | | Grieg - Eftel | 4003 | 155 | 25,83 | 4520 | | 17 | 14 | | Desigual | 3733 | 153 | 24,4 | 4270 | | 18 | 17 | | Team UBS | 3653 | 153 | 23,88 | 4179 | | 19 | 20 | | Porto - Prio | 3629 | 150 | 24,19 | 4233 | | 20 | 18 | | Team Tinkoff | 3539 | 154 | 22,98 | 4022 | | 21 | 21 | | Volvo acc. by Spotify | 3385 | 148 | 22,87 | 4002 | | 22 | 22 | | Berg Cycles | 3318 | 150 | 22,12 | 3871 |
No one able to get Herklotz of the individual crown but both Spilak and Taaramae are following next now. Other riders with a notable jump are Lecuisinier from 33-11, Gesink 61-16. Sicard 75-23 or Galta 70-28.

Not looking great for the top 10, but not too bad either. I guess with a stellar Tour of Maroc from Dombrowski and a podium ride by Gerts in ToNE, I could very well be in the mix for another top 10.

Kruiswijk as fifteenth top scorer in TDF is a massive surprise before or after the race! Nerz's KOM and stage consistency gives him a huge race as Puma manage to extend their huge gap!
Still great for Isostar despite the gutting loss of yellow, with Spilak even outscoring the winner Taaramae and them being the clear movers in terms of what it means to their season - so freaking happy for them
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Dekker and Boom really took care of my Tour de France here and delivered nicely while I still feel that De Bie, Swift, Groenewegen have highly underperformed so far point wise, which hopefully improves in their remaining races.
Good thing is that they still have some rd left and hopefully can keep me above the relegation line until the end.
Swift - 9
De Bie - 13
Groenewegen - 5
Boom - 11 (TONE ! )
Gallopin - 11
One rider might have to say goodbye finally as Dekker`s season is over and he finished it in style with a top10 in the Tour de France. Not sure yet but might be possible to see him leave after 2 very successful seasons on PT level for my team as age is not making a stop. |

Phew...I feared that it would look a lot more critical after Le Tour. Spilak keeping our head above the water, which is great. Berg Cycles back in the race, relegation fight is incredibly close.
With our leaders not having a lot of race days left I fear we might rely on luck for the rest of the season, but I am fairly optimistic we can start planning next season. Top10 should be the goal now to close out the season, and would be a nice start to our PT time.

Thanks for the update.
Negative: It looks unlikely that we can still beat Puma this season.
Positive: I'm quite confident that we will end the season higher than we are right now. Top 5 should be realistic and i still havent given up the hopes for a top 3 finish despite only being predicted to score 100 points more than the 3rd place has right now
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Obviously a big TdF for us, where we got more points than expected. And looking at the rankings, we definitely needed them as well. I still think we should be safe considering relegation and the amount of race days left for our leaders, but points that are already on the table are much better than those expected points
A top 10 looks difficult though, and to be honest, I'm mostly watching behind, as that gap doesn't feel like much, and probably never will
Thank you for the update, roturn! |

We're in the fight for that elusive spot above the water line, but frankly the Tour, a major event in our race plan, was another unneeded blow to add to our long tally of failures. Was hoping to see ourselves closer to Aegon and Grieg, but we're not done yet.
However we don't have many chances to score until the end of the season.
Machado has 13 rd
Intxausti and Reis are done for the season as leaders
Avelino 7
Borges and Claeys have a handful of outings
Volta a Portugal is where we need to strike hard if we are to stay in the PT
Thanks for the immersive updater oturn!

The tour went well for the team and allowed an approach to the teams that are ahead of us in the ranking.
Unfortunately this will not be enough to save us, among our leaders only Gesink will still have 2 days of race. Chiarello would have to make an incredible Volta a Portugal so that we can dream of a possible maintenance in the PT.
I knew from the outset that we would have a lot of difficulties, but what was clearly detrimental to our chances was the weak season of Cattaneo, a complete disappointment and that greatly damaged our possibilities
Thanks for the update roturn

Not the worst scoring team in TdF, so that's a success really with the team we had there. Still above the relegation zone, and I'm quite confident we will stay there with the upcoming races.
Puma still looks amazing! Thx for the update.

Thanks for the update. Lost some ground on several teams at the Tour, but that was to be expected. Obviously, I had hoped for a more aggressive Jack Haig there..
Still a few key races left, so from now on it's mainly up to Bobridge to score key points for Bennelong. His results so far in this season make me confident, that he should at least get a couple of nice GC results from Balkans, Tasmania and hopefully some stage hunting from Portugal.

Great update, thanks!
Afraid my team will just slip in the rankings from now, Rein done for the year. But still this years main goal was to win TDF, and that is done!
Puma runs away with this, congrats Cio. The peak season you planned years ago. Now I hope renewals break your team apart :-p Your are 1000 points above (already) the second best projected score

I believe some points may have been given wrong.
Could be the GC points have been given for Giro/Vuelta rather than Tour de France list, perhaps?
I get these points (just the top 5 teams checked):
Spoiler Isostar: 1557
T-Mobile: 1488
Festina: 934
Berg Cycles: 887
Air France: 688
If I check my own riders:
Spoiler Pierre-Henri Lecuisinier
- 290pts for 5th GC
- 40pts for 1st U25GC
- 25pts for 4th Points GC
- 3pts for 7th Team GC
- 72pts for leading U25 standings (Stage 3-20)
- 1pts for being 3rd U25 standings (Stage 2)
- 11pts for being 5th GC standings (Stage 10-20)
Stageresults:
- 5pts Stage 4
- 1pts Stage 8
- 3pts Stage 10
- 25pts Stage 12
- 15pts Stage 13
- 1pts Stage 15
- 50pts Stage 16
- 2pts Stage 19
- 80pts Stage 20
- 3pts Stage 21
= 627pts
Yuriy Vasyliv: (Not 78pts)
- 51pts for 29th GC
- 18pts for 3rd U25GC
- 3pts for 7th Team GC
- 11pts for being 3rd U25 standings (Stage 10-20)
= 83pts
Armanto Archimandritis: (Not 18pts)
- 20pts for 50-100GC
- 3pts for 7th Team GC
= 23pts
Matteo Fabbro: (Not 18pts)
- 20pts for 50-100GC
- 3pts for 7th Team GC
= 23pts
Georgos Tzortzakis - OK
Romain Le Roux - OK
Charalampas Kastrantas - OK
Loic Vliegen - OK
The riders mentioned "OK" didn't finish the race, hence only scored points from the stages. This leads me to conclude, that just the GC points were wrong. I haven't thoroughly checked, neither my own riders or other teams, but just written down what I believe to remember the points was from each stage - so there could be other mistakes - but I wouldn't go that deep into it, as for me it feels like the GC points is the main thing that seems skewed.
-----------------------------
On track:
We are extremely pleased with being 4th at this state. We don't have a lot of key races left, so we are likely to drop, but we have quite a decent gap to 10th, and if all plays out well enough we might even be able to secure 5th. Evonik should come up again, but fortunately I do have a gap of 500ish points. Vesuvio will probably keep above us, although we have a shot at catching them (Vesuvio having the better puncheur doesn't bode well though). Both T-Mobile and Isostar could fancy a go at top 5 now, but looking at their seasons it doesn't seem that likely now that Spilak and Taaramäe are out of the equation (Spilak might have a few races left though?).
For us, it's all done for Lecuisinier now, but with only Portugal left in the calender that suits him, it doesn't matter much. He will end up beating his previous point scoring records - from 2GTs... So it will be very difficult for me to take the decision to train him in the off season, if this is what can realistically be achieved from 2 GTs!
Bryan Coquard have 3 races left, but 2 of them are at PTHC level, so I guess we can't ask for too much from him.
Panagiotis Vlatos will need to land a good result at Chrono des Herbiers, aswell as those possible stageresults for him to charge for us to get a top 5 PT ranking.
For us the biggest questions mark is Maxime Daniel. If he can continue to perform ~6-8th in the cobbled races to come, we could be in a good position, but I would definately count on some offs during the season from him.
Huge congrats to cio for this massive season! My record season from 2016 where we scored 8315 points is looking to be shattered. I would appreciate it if you were to go easy on the record

We've crawled our way up to 7th, which is a very satisfying position. Our goal for the season is to cement ourselves as one of the sub-top teams and so far we're on course.

There's not really much to add to this update than a
Glad to see Silvio still on top of the world at that part of the season, and the relegation fight looks as thrilling as ever.
