It`s the pre Tour de France update with 1-2 events yet to come in between though as both Riga Jurmala and the Colombo Classic are not covered yet. Though with the bigger points being collected in the two big preparation events Tour de Suisse and Dauphine Libere, the update is pretty accurate.
Malopolski in addition as PTHC event also covered in this update.
June Update
By winning one of the big events, a top2 spot was almost guaranteed. Adding some results in the others sees RBC taking the June award with Phinney`s domination in the Dauphinee being the main key obviously.
Puma with Herklotz proving to be one of the very best stage racers this year takes 2nd as they didn`t add a lot to the Suisse points.
Desigual as very consistent team as 3rd ahead of UBS and also Moser with consistent scoring and the obvious Malopolski Bewley win.
At the bottom some teams that didn`t even hit the big score in any of those starting with Hugo Boss, Isostar and Festina. But also Berg, Grieg, Aegon below 200 points in total in this triple.

Pre Tour de France Ranking
How does the full ranking look like before the Tour de France? Puma not even remained first as dominant leader, but also increased their gap to Moser. Pure strenght shown by Herklotz, Demare and co.
EA Vesuvio still going strong on the podium with Andy Schleck still having it and also Van der Lijke showing up this year. They are just behind Moser and with a decent gap to the very talented team of Evonik, which did pass Hugo Boss.
RBC with a big jump from 10th to 6th and also Bennelong jump into the top10 which must be given a lot of credit to Haig as solid co-leader.
Aker also goes up while Grieg Eftel is one of the bigger drop downs this month.
At the bottom no changes for the last three which remains Berg, Volvo and Porto. In especially for Berg, it`s looking very difficult to stay up.
Isostar also drops down into the relegation area but might have great chances in the Tour de France now while Tinkoff remains on the 18th and last relegation spot.
UBS, Aegon, T-Mobile and also Desigual just ahead but still save!

Let`s watch the Tour de France
When going through the rankings and comparing with the Tour de France startlist the following might be prognosed:
On a quick check the top ranking teams don`t send the strongest TdF teams. Moser might be able to close the gap as Barguil easily is the best GC rider of the top6 ranking teams. Nerz and Keinath need to reduce the loss here but the top 3 is likely to remain by a quick look as non of the next 3 teams is really having big teams here.
Festina as 7th ranked with the best chances to make a big jump. Lecuisinier is slowly developed into a top3-5 GT rider and also Tzortzakis is a solid sprinter, which makes it a nice team here.
The midfield should score here and there and mix ranks a bit while Air France and T-Mobile are having strong squads to attack the top 10 ranks.
Most interesting though the bottom area. The last 4 teams all sned strong squads with Isostar obviously being the best with last years winner Spilak and the potential to improve enough to no longer have relegation fear. Porto with Intxausti/Reis, Volvlo with Wellens and Berg with Gesink all having the potential to leave the relegation spots. Last though would need the win I guess.
Tinkoff having a real problem here as one of the weakest lineups next to Gazelle. Might drop to bottom last even! Also teams such as UBS, Aegon, Desigual must be in fear as their GC riders are not strong enough for big points and a lot depends on their stage hunters.
It`s impossible to rate the movement down there but surely the relegation area is the most interesting during the Tour de France.

Individual
Herklotz remains in the top spot and is a potential winner even with Andy Schleck going up to 2nd ahead of Ponzi and Demare.
Bewley remains 5th but having scored a bit more and still having a chance to pass some of those ahead.
Big jumps from Madrazo and Dombrowski as also Amador, who are all in or just outside the top10 now.
And wow, sensational stuff from Puma! Looks like the title is gone for Moser and everyone else. A 1500 points gap post June is just incredible
Decent month for us too, eventhough Trentin really struggles this season, which is also shown in the individual ranking. Definitely need him to step up, especially in ToNE later, as we've got ambitions there.
Will be great to see how the Tour impacts the rankings here, surely at least two teams in the fight to avoid relegation will be safe post Tour. We're definitely up for some thrilling racing there, considering the standings.
Assuming we don't underperform in a sensational way from now on and in, I guess we look set for a mid-table finish. Though, I expect second half of the season to be better than the first half seeing our lineups in our remaining races. Seeing the rankings, 9th is probably the best we can hope for, as it feels like we need some kind of a huge race to potentially climb further.
This will be a lot closer than I hoped for. We need to step up our game big time. Our stage Racing has been absolutely atrocious this season, We gotta get up there and score.
Rankings shaping up nicely for Bennelong and with a few key races for Bobridge still to come, we should be on the way to a solid result eventually. Tasmania, Balkans International and also Volta Portugal should give us some good points. All other races will depend on luck and good daily form.
Tour de France will probably see us losing a spot or two. Maybe more. All I want is a stage win and at least a solid ride from Haig. No big points probably, but we may show our colors at least.
Aegon really in a bad position with the Tour de France (Dekker/Boom/Gallopin) not likely to give a lot of points except they go rant and into the breaks more often than in the full season so far, for once going for the KoM...
I guess it will be a long gamble with De Bie having still a few races left as also Boom in TONE before anything can be said. Will be a long fight against relegation but hopefully this time with the better end.
Equally bad as expected, yet survived fairly well due to competition not performing all that swell either... The Tour de France could be a decent race for us, if Lecuisinier performs like he did in his recent GT. Fingers are crossed, as the run-in will be difficult for us.
A top 10 would be great - A top 5 almost impossible, yet we strive with pressure.
Cant say how much i appreciate this ranking! Thanks roturn!
Its kinda hard to believe that i climbed up a spot during the Suisse Dauphine header but apparently those two races are very Evonik friendly year after year.
4th pre Tour is great although the teams behind us are far closer than the ones ahead of us. That said the races post tour suit us well so i dont expect to drop much further afterwards and top 5 looks quite achievable. Bad news: it looks unlikely to overtake Puma at this point
We really seem to have lost our footing here. The Suisse+Dauphine double was supposed to give us a fighting chance, but Machado losing 10min on a stage and Reis slightly below expected.
We look around and find Berg, Volvo and Isostar in with fireworks to strike in every direction at the Tour, while Aegon, UBS and Desigual are too far ahead by now. Maybe Tinkoff can be reached by the end of the Tour, but it seems too dire of a situation to be in.
Third most points in June! Well done boys. Hopefully, that's enough of a gap to stay out of the relegation zone after the Tour. Rick Zabel is really pulling his weight in his debut season with us... Maksimov take notes.
Thanks for the update.
EDIT: Also, going back to see how we scored all these points since I have missed some stages... WTF Nibali... Tour de Suisse, Stage 8... wow. Edited by Mresuperstar on 21-03-2019 22:33
first of all thanks for yet another update..
And second, not even with a miracle we will be able to avoid relegation. The difference is already very large and taking out Gesink no one else in the team will be able to score points regularly.
The PT was a good experience but better start thinking about the PCT return
