OfficialRelease.cdb overwritten every time the game is launched

I've installed the 2019 DB and update 1, but every time I launch PCM via steam it overwrites OfficialRelease.cdb. If I launch the game and then copy the database again I can play, but it's a pain to do this every time. Is there a way around this?

I found a work around: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2018\Database\OfficialRelease.cdb gets copied to C:\Users\trsau\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2018\Mod\Default on every startup. So replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2018\Database\OfficialRelease.cdb with the mod database and all is good Banana

Making the database file "read only" working for me.
