If I put variants stages during a career

Hi everyone, it is my first post on this forum. First, thanks a lot to all this community for all the work it does on Pro Cycling Manager.

My question is, can I play variants stage like TDF2017 or the old Ronde in my career I began in july ?

Yes. Just copy the files into the stages directory.

I believe the game selects the variant with the game year and if there isn't one it will choose a variant randomly. At least that is how it used to work.

So if on both files and every stage in the variant you change the last part of the stage name (the value after the second _ ) to the next year in your career game they should be selected as that route in the next season.

Yes, it's as simple as that. You can also force the game to use a variant even on the day of a race itself if you dive into the savegame with an editor.

Indeed.... and if you open your Database with editor, don't forget to changing the 2 Following tabs:
Sta_Stages (ex: top_tdf_01_1994 , to, top_tdf_21_1994)
Sta_Race (just the name: 1994 )
