Having exactly same problem now, but instead of pink areas I can see team logo, its budget and name -> but only one team - Ag2R. It's impossible to start career with them or change to another team....

its due to a patch youve installed, there is somthing wrong with db file, so download db from here and it should be fine than  |

I've downloaded the initial mod db and then the bug happened.
I tried to re-install and then the game worked, so it's defintly a problem with the Initial Mod-file.
A lot have been changed with the db's and files, and stuff like that since PCM 2.
- How do i import a database file into the game ?

Hmm, I had problem already when I installed polish patch (straight from Cyanide). Didn't check game earlier :/ But other ppl with polish patch can play without problems, as well as with Initial mod (tried it now, and bug is still there).
If I'll reinstall game, I'll lose one code activation, right? Only two left now, I can't waste them in so stupid way... |

No I actually don't think so, if you do, then you can always ask for 3 new activations. |

No I actually don't think so, if you do, then you can always ask for 3 new activations.

Well maybe I'm just lucky, but Ive never lost one with reinstalling on the same system, only when installing on another computer |

you have to delete additional files at directory Documents and Settings, before new install ... i had the same problem
1. i uninstaled the game
2. deleted folders: C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2007
C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\Aplications Data\Pro Cycling Manager 2007
3. instal new game and it will work fine without pink boxes instead of some pictures and with original db
