Road Race


The Kazakh NC will be a battle between Arman Kamyshev and Alexander Nepomnyachsniy. The big if is if Kamyshev can drop the Gent-Wevelgem winner in the long cobbled sections

In the last cobbled section of the day, Kamyshev doesn’t wait for anything and puts an intense rhythm, with only Nepomnyachsniy and Kozhatayev being close to him

But look at Nepomnyachsniy’s counter-attack! Is he dropping Kamyshev, or he just caught him off-guard?

Actually it was the second, because after a few kms fighting together, just under the 5 km arc, Kamyshev broke free to the Kazakh NC

And Arman Kamyshev wins the Kazakh Championship! Second place for Nepomnyachsniy after a great battle with the rider of Orange team. And the Bronze medal goes to Kozhatayev

The Kazakh TT Championship was a four-way battle between 3 riders of Nemiroff and a lonely rider of Compal, with small gaps in all the intermediate point until the finish line, where gaps were opened a bit

The Bronze medal went for Mikhail Kochetkov, who was actually the first rider to start his race

The Silver medal went for Compal's rider Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev, who takes his second medal of this NC, after getting Bronze in Road Race. He finished only 16 seconds behind the winner...

... who is Yevgeni Nepomnyachsniy! At some points he looked kinda weak, but he recovered a lot in the final 15 kms to become Kazakh TT National Champion
