There seems to be something strange with the support email.
Should there be an automated email response when you send an email to them?
I didn't receive an activation key yet after pré-order downloading the game.
So I try to contact support with my orderid.
Never got any response so far.
Anybody the same problem?
How long did it take to get the activation code when they send it to ya.

I have the same problem
bought on june 18
never received an email with either a code or a download-link for the game.
Also mailed to support, but more than 24 hours later still zipp-nothing-nadda |

Just now I received a mail from support.
And it seems that the key is in the mail now.
This weekend I will try to activate with the key.
Wish me luck!
They also appoligize for the slow posting of the key.
This should solve my problem. |

I tried the activation key I received and it doesn't seem to work.
I get the message:
"the serial number you entered is wrong or mistyped. Enter a valid serial and try again"
The serial number in the message looked like this:
Activation key [999999:999999]
So I tried:
999999:999999
999999999999
999999-999999
(9 = a number)
All don't work.
Will contact support again. |

That's not the correct format for an activation code. Apparently something is still wrong, contact focus again. |

Yes I got reply from support. As I wrote in the post. They send me a mail with a number. And I thought that was the activation key... But now I think it was some sort of support sequence number.
They aplogize for sending the key a little late. In that same email they "hope" that I received the key ok. Whish I didn't.
Yesterday I wrote my second email to support explaining the problem. Waiting... waiting... waiting.
0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds of gameplay so far.

I also found people with key/code-problems at pcm benelux.
So it is defintily no standing alone problem.
the guy overthere even bought it after the release on friday.

A was given a new mail from support.
Yesterday I asked them to send the activation key to another mail adres.
Today it arrived in my mail box (the other one).
However in the mail support tells me to redownload the game.
Tonight (late) I will try the key first with the already installed version.
Downloading again is a problem caused by the limitations there are when downloading. (my limit = 4GB).
Hope it works. |

Yesterday I tried the new key I got and everything is OK.
I played and won my first 2008 race. (Ghent - Ghent won with Tom Boonen)
My advice on this is that you contact support when y not received the key.
Explain to them what your problem is.
Send them another mail address to send the activation key to. The original mail address just might block the mail with the activation key.
Also send them your orderid.
