The MGUCI has introduced a new rule wherein local amateurs are invited to participate in the National Championships of all countries along with the Professional riders. I will follow the exploits of the professionals as they attempt to win their country's National Championships.

Eight amateur riders form the break of the day.
Georgiev crashes early and is already 3 minutes behind the pack.
The break is caught soon after and the pace slows down, allowing Georgiev to come back.
3 riders form the next breakaway.
The pack splits into three groups on the second cobbled section. The lead group has 30 riders. Georgiev and Panayatov are the professionals not in the first group.
The break is caught with 25 km to go. The lead group is down to 15 with Robov dropped.
The lead group now has 6 riders with 20 km remaining. The riders in this group are Stoenchev, Grashev, Mihaylov, Hristov, Kolev and Zaraliev.
Stoenchev is dropped with 16 km to go.
Hristov and Grashev drop the others on the final cobbled section. Zaraliev and Kolev are in E2 with Mihaylov down to E3.
Hristov accelerates with 2.5 km to go and Grashev can't keep up.
Stefan Hristov wins! Teammate Grashev is 2nd, making it a 1-2 for Podium Ambition. Kolev wins the sprint for 3rd.
