Is there a way too boost the income of AI continental teams?

As title stated as a lot of the continental teams seem to be almost broke for the most part and I feel like it would be nice if they could at least have a sustainable economy.

Not exactly sure how to do this though, does the prize money coefficient work the same for the AI, so that if I crank it up to max the AI will receive more money?

Interesting question I don't have an answer to. Only anecdote I have about this is that in a career I played a while back my cobblestone captain became too expensive for me, wanting over 100k in wages, so I let him go - and he signed with a continental team! I have no idea how a team in the lowest division could afford him. So I'm unsure how the budget is handled for AI teams.

Definitely their budgets go up and down depending on their results, just like they do with the player's team, because in long careers WT teams can be relegated twice and end up with really weak teams. Check out this summary of mine after 11 seasons:
