Yesterday I din't have my PCM 07 disc with me, so I figured out I try to play the PCM06 demo, to see how that version was like. So I downloaded it and installed it.

Then when I start it it says I can't run it because something about StarForce Protection blocking it or something. But that's not important. The important thing is that after I uninstalled the demo the StarForce thing is still there. Everytime I start the computer it complains that StarForce Portection isn't working for Vista. I thought I got rid of it by uninstalling the game. I checked in the program list in the control panel but can't find it, same thing if I search for it on my PC. It's not there! But it's there, if you know what I mean.

So I just wondered how you get rid of this damn thing. It doesn't prevent my PC to do anything but it's very annoying to get a pop-up everytime I start the PC.

You can either update the Star-Force drivers so they work with Vista, or you can remove the program completely.

i've got the same problem , and i've downloaded the update and the removal too , but it doesn't works ! -.-
don't know what to do know..

You have to use the removal tool to get rid of these starforce drivers, if that was not obvious.
