withdrawing injured riders.

howdy, during my giro with LPR Parra has picked up an injury after being involved in a crash. He's now got a red cross next to hyis name during the next days stage.

how do i know the extent of his injury and how do i withdraw him from the race if i feel it's to severe to go on, or is the fact that he's still riding proof that he's ok to cintinue?

It's easy to see if he's okay to continue. Can he hang on to the peloton, let him continue. If he can't, you can withdraw him by setting his effort cursor at 0 and dot-command.

The fact he is riding means its just like road rash/he's really sore. So basically it's equivilent to having like 10 fitness point being taken off his fitness - ie he's more likely to be dropped when the pace goes up. You don't need to withdraw him, and the red cross will go at some point and he'll be back to normal. If however you feel he's useless an there is no need for him to continue, put him on the dot at 0 effort, he'll stop riding and after 30 seconds or so he'll be withdrawn.

cheers, well he got dropped at the end of todays stage and the next 3 are all mountain stages so it might be worth just withdrawing him so he can race in june when the rest of the giro squad will be recovering mostly. i'll see how he goes in the next stage.
