Well I made the Scanuppia climb with one corner that is 45% (in real life too). But when I rendered the stage in the stageditor it was 25%. I think the game doesn't allow higher somehow. But yeah, it looks steep. |

I have made a stage with Mont Ventoux, Col du Galibier, Col de la Croix de Fer, Alto del Angliru, and with the finish in Scanuppia, and when i played it, it stood 45 percent on the screen. Maybe you have done something wrong? |

yup, the game doesn't render more than 25%. that's why if you do the Giro 2009 stages (the insanely steep mountain Giro with the Edelweiss, Ova Spin, Scanuppia, etc.), all the percentages above 25% are scaled down. |

Maybe you have done something wrong? Absolutely impossible. It's perfect in the stage_xml and the game just doesn't show higher than 25 here... |

Sometimes the game gets in a funny state with steepness. My Uzbekh Sharktooth stage in: https://www.pcmdai...oto_id=315 had a descent of over -50% - but the highest steepness I had made a descent to be in the xml file was -25%

Buildings and turns can make the roads go above those 25%

Well, maybe.
I've noticed that the roads tend to be strange around cites or just buildings, if there's a turn, because the have to fit with some scale or something. I've seen small hills about 30-45% because of those coincidences.
