The first 2 cobbled classics hit us - the Monte Paschi Eroica features some very long cobble sections, really tough for the riders, whilst Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne is the first opportunity for the cobbled riders to show off, with some tough hills too

I hate these... too many cobbeld races this season... too easy for Boonen to get many PT points with few race points. |

Last year he came:
4th in Paris-Roubaix (Cancellara won)
1st in Gent-Wevelgem
3rd in RVV (Hincapie won)
Yes, he'll get a lot of points, but not as many as everyone thinks. Unless of course he has a season like the 2007 one, where he won all 3

thats costs him 6 race points, where a stage races needs to spend 21 to get the same amouth of PT points... |

Yep, it may be a little unfair. But that makes him more valuable, which, from next season, will make him very, very expensive to keep, and very hard to keep
But more on that at a later date

This should be interesting with 3 great cobblers on my team... Burghardt, Hushovd and Nolf should do enough to, hopefully, keep me in overall 2nd place of the PT. |

That's a strong squad.
But Accumalux have Cancellara, whilst Warner Bros. have Boonen and co., so you'll be doing a great job to keep 2nd. And with that squad, I wouldn't be surprised if you did

Thanks - Well i'm not too scared of Warner Bros getting past me, I believe I will overtake them in the end of the season anyway... It would be great if I could move in on Accumalux though, but that seems rather impossible... But gaining points on the other strong teams is my main goal |

Franzoi's main season goal is Monte Paschi Eroica, so i hoping for a big race from him there. I hope he can score some good points in the other cobbled races, but Monte Paschi Eroica is the big one.

Go Cancellara!
Remember that while there are more cobbled races, there are also more stage races aswell

I think it's good that there are more cobbled races this season, otherwise it would be absolutely pointless to have cobbled riders... It would give a MAX of 150pts if you had the best cobbler, and that's not enough imo compared to what a great Sprinter, TT'er or Climber could produce... So 200pts for the absolute best is more fair imo... And nobody will win all 4 for sure. Maybe Boonen will take 2, but I doubt more. |

but boonen can easily race all cobbeld race while still having most of his race points, where a stage racer will never be able to do all stage races. |
