Is it possible to change a dismissal of a rider in an editor, for a started career (I forgot Carlos Verona was still at Etixx-Quickstep for half the season, I dismissed him but I want him back)?
If it's possible how do I fix that in an editor? |

I am referring to this part on the tip
The first thing you will see that's different is the contract ID. You will need to make a contract in the contract cyclist column. There you simply need to do a few pieces of data for each rider. You must say who the contract is for, what team they are at, how much they are being paid, (in euros) and how long it is for. Make a note of the contract ID and put it in the right place in the riders section.

Thank you for your help but your solution doesn't really answer my question. Your solution adds a new rider to the database, but my rider (Carlos Verona) is already in the database, but without contract. So I opened my WeeklySave, added his contract in DYN_contract_cyclist and added him at Etixx in the Cyclists-tab. However nothing changes in my career. What do I forget or what am I doing wrong? |

What exactly have you done so far to try and get Verona back in the team? Can you explain the exact steps (including which columns you have edited)

I opened my WeeklySave in an editor, in the Cyclists-tab I looked at the missing contractnumber for Etixx-Quickstep (162), in the Cyclist Contracts-tab I add a new contract (number 162), filled in Verona's name and team Etixx, filled in a salary in Period Wage, 2016 as Contract End year, and marked the Active contract column.

You are editing your weeklysave. You need to edit your savegame for it to have an effect on your career. You can find it in cloud/username

Move the amended weekly save to the same location as the main save and see if the changes have had an effect.
If so, then continue using this weekly save as your main save, or replicate the changes in your save game and use that

I replaced the savegame in the cloud with the changed WeeklySave and that solved the problem. Thanks a lot both for helping me! |
