Riders disappear as stages progress

I started as a Continental team with 14 riders. I'm now Continental Pro in season 2 with 18 riders. I register my riders and begin the Etoile de Bessages. All my 8 riders show up at stage 1 (6-8 must be registered). By stage 3, only 6 riders show for the stage. By stage 5, I only have 4 riders listed. None of the other riders are listed as injured. This also happened in season 1, but I never had so many stages and the game would knock me down from 8 riders to 6 riders, but 4 is pretty impossible to do anything with.

1) Why do these riders disappear sometime after the first stage?
2) How can I solve it?

Did they finish outside the time limit?

Thanks for catching that. I guess what's happening is when I knock the front rider off the sprint train I set their effort to 0. I'm gonna have to figure out a better way to do that. Maybe cut speed in half?

Setting the effort to 0 is the most effective way to get outside of the time limit Wink

0 makes them stand still on their bike. Use a lower effort such as idk, 15-20, but not less than that otherwise you're in danger to see them abandon.
