Rider stats explained

Hi there,

I've been playing pcm for quite some years now (2007) and i'm actually wondering if and how the stats have changed since the early pcms uptill now. I've read that the resistance stat isn't represented by the yellow bar for instance, but it affects the red bar.. so what does acceleration mean then? How fast a rider can place his attack?

I'd like to have some sort of overview containing all the different stats and the role it plays in the game. This would make it easier for me to balance my career. I never offer contracts to riders with high fighter skill f.e. because they are of little use to me and can make a ride more fun to play if the other teams haave them.

I'm gonna be honest and you can find all the info you want using the forum search, as what stats do has been discussed to death many times over. Especially RES, ACC, FTR and MO/HL in the past couple of editions of the game.
