Game Crashing on First Stage of Vuelta

Bit of a long shot but it's ruined my career save at the moment.
I'm in my second season and I'm in my first Vuelta and I can't play the first stage, every time I try and play it crashes, no matter if I pick quick sim, detailed sim or 3D race it crashes, the stage works in single race but not in career, I've replaced the stage with other stages and renamed them to replace the stage but the game still crashes.

Any tips on what else I can do?
