Hi! Got a strange problem, whenever I try to enter pcmdaily.com I`m getting redirected to google homepage. This only happens to computers and devices connected to my home network router, and it happend suddenly the other day. I have not done anything to my modem, so I dont understand why it deny me to access this site. Works fine on any other network, like at work where I am now.
Doesent matter if I write pcmdaily.com into the adress field of any browser, or if I press a link at google, yahoo or any other search engine. It goes straith to google.no.
Any ideas?
Best regards

It happens when you use a VPN browser, at least what happened to me.

I will try scan for sure! But why is it that this affects any computer or tablet/phone that is connected to my home wifi? When I disconnect from my router and switch to mobile network I can access this site again. But when I reconnect to my wifi-router it keeps on redirecting to google? To me it seems the problem (if its a virus) is in the router or something? Or that my ip is blocked from the site or something?
Hi again. Had a talk with my internet provider, they were as surprised as I am, unfortunately.
They checked pcmdaily.com just to be sure they didnt put a limitation on it, since they have blocked a couple of shady streaming-sites lately, but of course nothing about pcmdaily, since its not a shady website.
They asked if I could check if my ip has been banned by admins of pcmdaily (are u blocking/banning ip`s?), or try reseting the router, as I am about to do as soon as I get home from work. Except from that they couldnt provide me with more help.
If I find a solution I`ll be back with the results in case anybody else have the same problem.
Anyway, thanks a lot for ur help matt, have a nice weekend!
I'm in the exact same situation. Just out of curiosity, what router do you have and does the reset solve this ? What could possibly cause the router to do this ?
