Is normal that if a IA team has a own cyclist in breakway, the same team become to throw beacuse it has a favourite for the stage against his breakway?

Yes, this can happen.
Usually in this situation, the rider in the breakaway won't participate a lot because he has few chances to win, letting a chance for his teammate who is favourite.

I have seen that many times, also in situations where it is without any logic, like a solo break , with his own team helping to takes turns in the peloton.
But it is not something you will see often
