Attributes after first season - ?

So, first season over.

Contador is now 34 years old, and went from 84 Mountain and went down to 81. No way i can compete with Froome and Quintana which both have 84 mountain Sad

Anyways ; How come Pinot's mountain stat got boosted all the way to 83, while Chavez STILL have 80 ?

The stat drops is not something we can influence, that's Cyanide's fault.

The difference in growth between Pinot and Chavez is because of their different potentials. Pinot has a higher potential value (7?) and therefore his stat limits are higher than Chavez'.

Fault? It's pretty realistic, at some point riders start to decline because of age. Note that if you keep on playing and more and more riders retire and are replaced by "newgens" (young riders generated by the game) some can peak and decline at a young age, it can happen as soon as they are 28 years old.

As for potentials, for the current crop of riders the "main potential" (between 1 and 8) doesn't matter, but the actual limits of each category. At least in the db I use Betancur only has a main potential of 5 and still develops into one of the best riders.

Anyway, you can look this all up by using an editor, I believe you'll need the Fast Editor for PCM 15. Load your save game into the editor, open the table dyn_cyclist and you'll see at which age each riders starts to decline as well as their potentials.

Also, maybe Chavez will still develop further, how much a rider improves every year is (mostly) determined by a single number between 1 and 5, generated randomly every year. So some riders develop faster than others.
