Save Game Disapeared

Hi
Been slowly working through my career with Sky. Just getting into an exciting climax of the Tour de France with Mikel Nieve looking good for a top 4/5 finish following an untimely injury to Froome. Just finished stage 17 and gone through the stage results when the game turned itself off.
Upon reopening the game the option to load last game was unclick-able and when I went into the load option the save game wasn't in there.
I assume that the game is completely lost forever but if anyone does know if there is a way to retrieve it from anywhere then please let me know as I would like to finish the Tour at least.
If not it's not a problem as I'll just go back to my 2033 Football Manager career with Arsenal 
I'm playing on the PCM expansion pack. Not sure which version off the top of my head but I can find out if it makes a difference.

You could use a weeklysave and put it in the cloud\users\you folder.
As for the version of the ep, is it the 2015 db or the 2016 db?

I think the db is just the original PCM V1 Expansion Pack. I downloaded it a while back and didn't play the game for a while but I can check later to make sure. I'm not very technical so I wouldn't be downloading any weird databases
I've never backed the game up or saved it anywhere else. I only play the career every now and again when I get fed up of football manager. I just used to turn the game off and click load last save game when I turned it back on.
I would like to finish the Tour if possible though as I've really concentrated on trying to get Nieve into the top 5 and it would be nice to see it through to the finish. |

Well I mean you could try with a weeklysave, you don't back that up but the game does that itself. Yo can find it in the documents/pcm 15/weeklysaves.

I assume that if I've played a few stages since the last weekly save then I'll need to play them again? |

Copy the last weeklysave of your career (should be the last one in chronological order) in cloud/users/you and load it in game.

Hi all
Following on from my earlier question about loosing my saved game and the weekly save back-up.
Is there a way to manually update the weekly save? For example at the moment it automatically saves your progress on a weekly basis which means in effect you could loose a weeks worth of playing if you need to use it to retrieve a lost game.
Is there a way to get it to save your progress each time you finish a session? Or just each time you want to save you game to the weekly save file? I'm just asking because my game has been a bit temperamental recently and I've had to retrieve lost saves on a couple of occasions. I don't want to keep replaying a weeks worth of stages each time it crashes

You can always make a manual copy of your current save game instead of relying on the weekly saves. Simply copy it and save it somewhere convenient, I use my desktop. If you need it again, exit the game and then copy & paste it back into the correct folder (overwriting your current save), then restart and load. |
