Game crash

After installing the game and updating to the latest patch I try to start a career mode and it instantly crashes the game, it also does that with any other game mode.
Also when I start the game I only hear the sound of the intro-vid and don't see the video + whenever I look at my databases to select one I don't see any.
If some1 can help me that would be great, because I can't do anything right now. |

The basic/standard databases should be there, right? And yes I also tried it with the newest 2016DB's neither shown up. |

Well then I'd strongly suggest you to take a look at the faq of the 2016 db. Did you ever start up the game before installing the 2016 DB?

Yes, I don't have any database installed right now. It's a fresh game/files... I do not even see the standard database you know with the wrong names... I legit can't select any database. |

If you installed the game via steam, you may want to check the games integrity/cache.

I wish that I had a steam version... but I don't :S.

What is the content of your documents/Pro cycling manager 2015 folder, inside of mod?

I only see: Cache, History, Temp, Users and 2 Users.cdb files
In previous pcm's I used to also see Mod and Database here but not this time. |

That's most definitely what you shouldn't see. Did you already uninstall and reinstall the game?

Yes 5 times if not 6... idk what's going on think I might have a corrupt setup on the CD? But I'm pretty sure that the same game used to work on my old laptop. |
