Volta A Portugal
PaulNewman
Greetings everybody, I have a problem with the Volta a Portugal, it runs from 30/8 to 10/8, so it does not appear in the results section.

Using Lachi Editor, how do I rectify this, as I want to win it. Which tables do I need to edit?

I have tried to edit my start database, replacing the 8 with 9 in the STA:stage table, but when I started a new game, it still displayed 30/8 until 10/8, and seemed to ignore the changes I had made.

Thanks

You need to edit your savegame, which you can find in Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2014\Users\*you*\Database\Solo\*name of db* Wink

Thanks, I am in September in my initial save, therefore it has already finished, that is how I noticed. So what I did, was I edited the starting database, prior to starting. When I started, the game had created a schedule with it still on 30/8 until 10/8, despite the starting database clearly stating that stage 3 should start in the 9th month.

The game doesn't take into account the starting database anymore after your career has been started.

Oh, so do I have to manually edit it myself on Jan 1st every year, or will it sort itself out in 2015?

matt17br
If you've already given up on 2014, you'll just need to edit it whenever and in 2015 and all the other years it'll work perfectly fine.

Otherwise you can use a weeklysave and edit it before you play it Wink

So, I edited my savegame, and advanced a day, the schedule still stays 30/8 - 10/8 for the Volta, and now some races have never set as the date, ridiculous..

Can I take a look at the save to see what's wrong?

I edited the unix timestamp next to the dates in sta_stage, forgot it needed to be edited in a savegame Wink

Try this:

Yeh, it seems as though it all adds up, thanks for your help. So, if I need to change any more, I just enter the date in the converter, and copy the number into the gen_i_computed_date field in the editor. Is this correct?

matt17br
Exactly. Note that the time you need to enter in the converter is 12 and not 0.00 Wink

So, what is the issue where the date never is displayed in the schedule? Tor dalsace ends never, and coppa placci and bever brook classic? I never even edited them? Thanks

matt17br
Hmm sounds weird, I didn't touch them either. Have you got any issues playing them?

It seems to me that the editing we did has effected them somehow, I did not enter the races in question so I am not playing them, when I click on them, the game crashes to desktop.

I noticed that Coppa Placci and beverbrook classic are listed on the schedule, but are not in the STA_stage table anywhere, tiur d'alsace is there, the timestamp looks fine yets its dates are 30th until never.

Thanks
