No more room for errors if we want that promotion. A good result on stage 1 is mandatory, while we need to attack early on stage 2.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not expecting heaps but this is an important chance to gain points. Sobota might do something on the flat stage, but Domaglaski isn't quite up to scratch with the top climbers so we'll need a break.
A lot of points will go to the GC winner, (GC + likely a stage + maybe KOM)
Thanks for the preview, the rider.

Our #1 goal of the season and also a major planning error setting a win goal in what will essentially be a mountainous classic for us (we're not a classics team). Especially with Signorini - I initially thought having him, Nieve and Atapuma here would be a 'too many cooks' scenario but am now hoping I don't regret this decision. Here's hoping Gian can keep up on the flat stage as he has all year and pray for no wind and a nice leisurely pace. My biggest concern is that he'll wear himself out on the foothills before the final climb as he's not so flash over that terrain.
Enough with the negativity however and here's hoping for a great race!

Okay Lavoine for stage 1 and Berard for a Top 5 #makeithappen
Drujon and Pszczolarski will form a good leadout and hopefully the points jersey will be up for a grab too
Was worried this race had been forgotten, so hopefully it will be a good race for us If I have to predict a winner, then Anacona might end up winning the race

This really ought to be a highlight of the season for us. Westling has yet another chance of saving his career on the first stage while Anacona/Sørensen/Samoilev/Colex should be able to do great things on the mountain stage.

A very important race for us in the battle for the CT crown (just like any other race from now on). Hochmann will need to deliver in the sprint stage, and then I need to hope the team actually does a thing in the mountain stage, probably by an early or mid-stage attack. As this is one of the races that suits us least I hope we can pick up around 15-20 points, anything above would be received very happily.

That field
Super happy we didn't sign up for this, with 2 stages and no riders that could have been the favorites in neither of those, this would have probably turned out in an enormous points loss.

Apparently I didn't even consider Koep a possibility here and instead made a sprint team... well okay, maybe a breakaway?

Strong sprint competiton here which is unsurprising given the points on offer for a stage win (leaders jersey and almost guaranteed equal first in points overall)
Anacona for the overall because his flat stat is much better.

Signorini was finishing in the top 30 in a few of the sprint stages in the ToME, I've got a feeling he'll surprise everyone and win the first stage by a mile!

Good that I didn't send my best squad here. Don't expect too much, too |

Also, with the four big mountain teams here (DeLaval, Alpina, Compal and us) I wonder if it's possible that they sit back and look at each while a break takes a surprise win?

Usually I wouldn't expect PCMAI to be smart enough do that, generally at least one or two teams will chase.
But I really want it to happen as it's our only chance.

I guess I've got to hope for a fluke break result if I want anything other than xp out of this one, luckily I've brought a few guys that have been good at making breaks in previous years.

Good to see that Lehtinen gave it a go and that my leaders fro tomorrow stayed safe in the front of the peloton.
Also quite annoyed that Westling continues to refuse sprinting
