OK, I'll try to explain this as good as possible. I failed to find another thread about this, so I hope someone might still be able to help me.
I am playing Career mode and by now I have reached the year 2019. From the very first race of the new season, there is a strange bug, that is practically destroying my game.
What happens is: Both in 3D as well as fast simulation, all the riders seem to get packed up together. In 3D mode it is actually visible, all riders are clipped into on another in one bunch, apart from those who do something (like attacking or protecting), then they get "freed" from their spell and ride freely. BUT the problem is that once you send a rider to get water they MOVE BACKWARDS because the team cars are apparently glued to the start line. So all the riders dry out over the stage and when the last one has no water left, the game crashes...
In fast simulation, the same thing apparently happens. The race ends there and often the favorites win, BUT further back you can see that most riders finish in bunches with just riders of their team, often very far back (25 minutes on a 130km stage...). ItÄs worst in ITTs, since there all riders of one team finish together as well, which completely fucks up the standings. It is sooo crazy, and I really don't know why it happened this season??
Can anybody help me? It would be so much appreciated!
It sounds pretty similar to other problems reported here, riding backwards, bunching, so I'm guessing it's an equipment problem (with the PCMdaily expansion). I recommend you read through this thread completely:
