Hey guys, my game crashes in career mode when I try to load up the first stage of the Tour de San Luis. It crashes as soon as I click "3D Race." The graphics are set to the lowest possible, and it works fine on "Stage" mode. I can attatch anything if that helps. Thanks Edited by Cycleman123 on 16-08-2015 06:37
As soon as you click the button? How unusual. My guess would be there's a serious problem with the db you are using. So, which db are you using, have you checked you installed everything correctly? Did you race the Australian NC? How about simulating San Luis and checking if the TdU works, or whichever race is up next?

I raced the Aus Championships and they were fine. I'm using a custom db which someone recently helped me with.
Hmm, idea number 1, if you have installed race variants: Please check not in stage but stage race mode. Select the Tour de San Luis and cycle through the variants. See if you find a problem, a variant that looks wrong, has too few stages, something like that. In that case something is wrong with the file naming. Take Windows Explorer to the folder you installed the stages into and check the files starting with t1_sanluis, look for typos, missing _ and the correct number of stages for all variants, etc. Also, try if 3D mode works there.
Idea number 2: Last thing to do is check the save game, open up STA_race with Lachi's editor and compare the entries for the San Luis Tour against the others. Start with fkIDfirst_stage, check the file name is good and that the file exists in your stages folder.
