Setting up training

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had information in terms of how I should set up my riders' training schedule (on the Squad>Trainers page)? I can' seem to find anything too specific about it and I was wondering if there was a "rule-of-thumb" in terms of setting it up for each rider?

You mean which training type (climber, northern classics, etc) you should pick for each rider and which trainer to use?

Trainer: On your Squad -> Staff screen you can see how useful your trainers are in each area (10 being the best). Always use the trainer best in that area, but assign them no more than 8 riders each.

Training type: I would choose that from a different screen. Left-click on a rider's name and then select training from there. On the right hand side you see the progress potential of all his stats. Nothing means the rider has reached his potential in that stat, 1 star means he can gain 1 or 2 more stat points, 2 stars mean 3 or 4 and so on, 5 stars mean at least 9 points, could be 20+.

Each training type improves several stats, I have attached a screenshot from Lachi's editor. Note you cannot train downhill, that will improve with time, but ever so slowly, many riders never reach their potential.
