Amateur Posts: 3 Joined: 03-07-2011 PCM$: 200.00	If your rider is on their own, does it make any difference whether you put them on dot, relay or hold position (assuming same % effort)?

Junior Rider Posts: 49 Joined: 09-07-2009 PCM$: 200.00	from what i saw it changes the way the pack react to you, a relay on high % will make the pack chase you really faster then if in hold position or dot. to be honest i only use relay if im in a group so they dont ask for me to work and start atacking, for the rest of the time i go with hold position or dot. dot is more in the mountains when i want my rider to go at his own pace but still put some effort.

Amateur Posts: 9 Joined: 27-10-2010 PCM$: 200.00	I lost minutes many times by leaving it on hold position on mountains, then being caught up by a previous group. Your rider will just stay behind the last guy while everyone else rides away.
