Choosing helmets?

Don't know where to put this, but anyway.
Is there any way to choose which helmet to wear? Or perhaps have a different design for use with a leaders jersey? Or is it truly random?

Simple answer no - it was not added into PCM14
The helmets worn are as per what is assigned in the db. You can check this in the editor

In PCM14 you can change the helmet brand in Dyn_Team, can't remember the name, however should contain helmet.
Check Sta_Brand for possible helmets to add, where you need to take the ID of the brand and put it into that column in Dyn_team.
Eventually use my tip in the Tips & Tricks Section on how to add equipment to the game, if you have some helmets you want to add

I know about adding equipment, but this is still only allowing me to have 1 kind of helmet for the entire team right?

Yes basically since Cyanide has made it impossible to select a certain helmet pre race :/
