Help Installing JESGD Database

I have followed all the directions of where to put files, but when I load the game (with Steam) I see nowhere to change the database. I start the game and do not see settings anywhere. Thanks, |

Hm it seems that you did not install the My Docs part correctly, in that case.
Don't forget that the My Docs part has to go some other way. Make sure the .cdb ends up in Mod/Database at least.

Definitely sure you've made a mistake in the installation process.
I am unsure what exactly it could be.
But might want to check that you install in the right folder before you install it.
(Also obviously make sure to have both Exp Packs and the V1 installed correctly)

Perhaps you are misunderstanding. I have NEVER had a settings option, even with the downloaded game before trying to update a new database. |

Yes I was misunderstanding, not very surprising considering that seems a very odd issue 
What you could do is go to My Docs/PCM 2014/Mod/Database, backup officialrelease.cdb somewhere on your pc, remove it, and rename the jesgd .cdb to officialrelease.cdb.
Normally the game would automatically pick officialrelease.cdb (if you've never changed settings which you obviously haven't  ) so if you change the jesgd db to that name then it'd automatically select the jesgd as .cdb
However I would contact Cyanide to help you with the settings issue, it is an issue I've not often heard about.

I found it...completely on accident. Three tiny dots at the top of the screen! I accidentally moused over them and down dropped options! I'm now playing! Cheers! |
