Crashing Giro 2015

Hi. So I'm about to go into the first stage of the 2015 Giro and the game crashes, Is ther anyway around this. I have the PCM Daily expansion pack V1. The update patches did not work when trying tol install ages ago. Any ideas what the problem is or how to get round it? The stage is Napoli - Napoli.
