I've been fiddling round with the stage maker and I've decided to try to make a Herald Sun Tour variant, but I was wondering about setting the region for the race on the stage editor.
it looks different for each region and I've only got Alps, Center, South, Dessert, Arid, Corsica, MtVentoux, England.
To make a race in Victoria/Australia, do I have to download something, do something else, or select one of the pre-provided areas??
You just match up one of the exitising ones. If it's a mountainous area use Alps. If it's a Desert use Desert. If it's dry but not a desert use Arid. If it's hot but not arid use South. If it's "normal" use Center. If it's Corsica use Corsica. If it's Ventoux use Ventoux. If it's England use England. Experiment and try out the different ones to see which works best for you and that stage.
I've got a new problem and didn't want to create a new thread (actually made a few stages before, but I have problems as soon as I make a stage ) anyway,
My first stage is a circuit, which is completed 7 times, it has a number of intersections in it, which have the road the route takes and a dirt road coming off. When I try to make the route, making it is fine, until I reach one of the intersections, the route then doubles back on itself and goes the opposite way to what I've been going every time, I've tried starting in different places (such as on the intersection), removing/moving the intersection and adding new road to it, etc.
Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks, trekbmc
Went back to an earlier save and made the road differently, it worked. but now the route will only go clockwise around the circuit, when I want it to go anti-clockwise, any clue how to change the direction?
