Rider joining the Giro in the middle of the race and making it crash

This one is weird. At stage 16 of my Giro (an uphill time trial that I need to play in 3D), Luis Leon Sanchez suddenly joins the race for Astana. It gets only +43' for the TTT (the delay of his team on the 1st team), and an incoherent +- 43' in the general classification, with a 58th ranking.

And the game crashes when he starts the ITT (it's how I identified the problem). Any idea to fix this ? I tried the date changer tool, but while when I go back the day before, he does not race, he is added when I go to the next day. I cannot make him start another race (with the Team Changer tool) because no race starts on this day.

Is there a solution to make him drop out of the race ? Which table of the save should I edit ?

I made a tip 2 years ago on how to add a rider to a race, for PCM12. You should be able to delete a rider the same way I suppose.
