During my career for CSC I was sponsering 3 youth scouted riders in 2007 all with good or excellent potential. I naturally expected them to join at the beginning of the 2008 season but annoyingly they turned up in Discovery Channel's squad instead  It is frustrating as one of these riders already has decent hill stats :x
Has anyone experienced any similar problems? |

Well, you actually have to sign them in the transfer season for them to join your team

Really? I thought they would just join your team next season if you were sponsering them. I thought I had done this before and it worked like that. |

I personally don't bother sponsoring too many riders. I scout as much as I can to find the 'excellent' potential riders, then offer a little bit more during contract negotiations...like taking candy from a baby
