I recently bought PCM14, I've patched the game, downloaded the PCM Daily expansion and installed as instructed by the discriptions, then updated it to the latest version. Then I've done the same with the JESGD 2015 DB. I'm now running the game with PCM Daily expansion V2 and JESGD 2015 DB v1.175, and the game runs precisely as it wants to.
In other words, the game crashes all the time. Rarely the same date or after the same race. Sometimes it runs okay for some time, and other times it crashes every other day. When I load the game, I'll usually be able to proceed to the next day in my first try, and then a couple of game days later it may and may not crash again. Now I could live with this if it only meant I had to reload the game, as the game saves immidiately after the race (it hasn't once crashed during a race), but more often than not the crash somehow corrupts my save game. The saves are visible in the database/solo/whatever folder in mydocuments, but the game will neither show nor load the saves. When I click "load previous game" (or whatever the option is called), nothing happens. And when I check the saves in-game, none are shown.
This means that I'll have to copy the latest weekly save to the database folder, which is extremely annoying, as the game will crash once more and I'll have to do the same thing again. With how frequently the game crashes, I'm stuck with having to play the same damn stages over and over, and that's really a game breaker.
Is this a known problem? Does anyone know what might be wrong? I would of course prefer to avoid crashes altogether, but is there a way to prevent the game from friggin' deleting my saves when it crashes? Or at least restore the corrupted/deleted saves without having to go a week back in time?
Thanks.

How old is your computer? Because it sounds to me like your computer can't handle the game, especially with the (heavy) updates.
Expansion pack etc ask a lot of your pc.
I hadn't even considered the issue being with my computer. Admittedly, I know very little about computers, so I always thought that the in-race graphics would be the only thing to trouble my computer, and since the graphics run pretty well without any slowdown (albeit on the lowest settings), I thought my computer was capable of running the game.
My laptop is about three years old and isn't geared towards gaming, so that may very well be the problem.
